Happy Birthday Andrew

Text written in: English

A day long trip to see some of the Inca cites outside of cusco. First stop was a craft market, an opportunity for the pushy locals to try their best to sell all sorts of wonderful crap to us, next stop about an hour away was another craft market, simular experience. The first city we saw was Pisaq, perched way up on top of a hill, glad a road had been built well after the city, massive terraces. Ran into Craig, buddy from weeks ago in Bolivia, random. Next stop lunch by a craft market, and Ollantaytambo, where the Incas actually defeated the Spaniards in a battle, therefore keeping any sites up the valley "lost" for many years to come. Here was evidence of a quarry, mystical waterfalls, grain storage facilities, faces carved from the mountain and a craft market. Then onto a fantastic sunset at Chinchero, nice plaza there, home to another craft market.....
