made it

Text written in: English

So under the cover of darkness i got a bus that missed the roadblocks and made it to the border, pity to miss Copacobana and Isle de Sol, maybe on the way back?? The trip to the border took about 3 hours, one one check point to pass, then stamp out, stamp into Peru and find another 3 hour bus to Puno. On the edge of Lake Titicaca its a bit of a dump, but a good spot to visit a bunch of floating islands, made entirely of reeds, and tourist cash....
Getting to Cusco from there was a bit of a mission. a few of us were sold tickets for one bus from another company , so ended up missing our bus, and having to ride in the aisle of the other for 8 hours or face being stuck for a day. Great trip...
