Black sand, Sunset and Pisco Sour.

Text written in: English

I have embarked upon the Pachamama By Bus, hop on hop off backpacker tour of the Lakes District. For the next week, 9 of us will take in the sights and sounds of Southern Chile, led by Jorge, and driven by Sergio. First stop was Pomaire for an empanada breakfast, South America´s answer to the pie, and then over Rapel Dam a hydro electric setup, and onto the black sanded beach of Pichilemu. The sunset over looking Chile´s best surf spot was amazing, as was the massive BBQ dinner, and then drinks. The local hooch, Pisco Sour. A blend of wine and lemon juice, served best over ice after shaking the bottle well. Most of us managing to get through several bottles before dawn, how Sergio got up to drive 12 hours the next day was amazing.
