We checked out of our hotel at midday, exactly 10 minutes after waking up with a horiffic hang over (luckily, for some reason I packed my bag when pissed the night before), and made our way down to the very plush Hotel Sintra which is worryingly over the road from DD's. The only reason we are staying in this well nice hotel is because Al's aunt won a competition for a free nights accomodation, but since she lives in Macao, she didnt really need it and gave it to us instead. The beds were amazing, just like my one at home, but bigger.
That night, we went out for another meal with Al's aunt and uncle, this time to a Chinese restaurant, which was also very nice even though i was sick as a dog throughout and couldnt even begin to contemplate having a glass of wine, and yet again they insisted on paying, but i most certainly wasnt arguing! We gave them a pretty nice bottle of wine as a thankyou gift, and parted our ways as we are leaving for China again in the morning.
We got an amazing nights sleep which was much needed in our massive soft beds.....they are making me drool just thinking of them now.
Overall, Macao is a pretty cool place to spend a few days sightseeing if you like gambling and drinking, but other than that and a bit of nice Portuguese colonial architecture, there isnt really much to see.
