The walk of shame

Text written in: English

I woke up today in a well plush apartment on the top floor of a 16 storey scyscraper n bed with a random Irish girl whos name i cant remember at 3pm.  I walked through to the open plan living room to be confronted by amazing views over stanley harbour and most of the southern end of hong kong island - so the trip here was worth it after all!  At the time though, i didnt have a clue where i was, so i asked the Irish girl and she said we were on Tai Tam road, near Stanley.

The result of this being that i had to walk about a mile to the nearest bus stop, catch a bus back to central, then catch the MTR back to Tsim Sha Tsui, in total it took a full two hours.  It was the hottest and sweatiest walk of shame i have eveer had to do in my long sleeved shirt in over 30 degree heat.

As soon as i got back though, I was instantly cheerd up by the funny stories of Ackroyds deeds the previous night, and after much piss taking, it was straight back to bed for another three hours.

I woke around 7pm feeling pretty rouhg still, but i needed some fodder, so i went out in search of sushi.  I managed to walk straight past about 5 sushi restaurants and got fed up so i went to a horrid looking cheap chinese restaurant.  Never again.  I had satay beef with noodles and deep fried squid and it was actually the worst meal of my life to date.  The beef was so chewy it was practically bouncing around my mouth, the satay wasnt satay, the noodles tasted like pure MSG and the squid tasted like fat.  I didnt eat much.

When i got back to the room, the guys were starting to feel a bit peckish, so once again we went out looking for a sushi restaurant and found one immediately much to my disgust.  It was alex's first taste of sushi, and he wasnt too impressed, i think i had bigged it up too much beforehand and he was nearly sick when he ate salmon sashimi.  I ate so much i nearly exploded and when it came to paying it cost a grand total of 4 quid each.  I could live here.

After feeding time we decided to go for a beer in an irish bar on Nathan Road, but the beer was flat and i started feeling sick after one pint, so once again we headed back to the room and passed out for a good 10 hours.
