After waking up unexpectedly on a pavement, I realised i was in Causeway Bay. I walked around for a while and found a MTR station, only to find that my Octopus card had been nicked, so i had to go back to the bank so i could get home. I finally made it back to our room at 9am and passed out for 6 hours before deciding to do something productive with the day. Turns out we just caught the Star Ferry to Central, walked around for a couple of hours and decided to head back to the hostel as we all felt pretty rough.
We all got a bit of a second wind after a Chicken Madras on Kimberley Road, so we headed out for a few pints. In the last bar we went in a big group of chinese businessmen had a brawl which was quite amausing to watch....they fought like girls (Rachel Donger not included). They then proceeded to apologise to us and no-one else while being kicked out to carry no where they left off outside. Turns out the second wind wasnt long lived, so we headed back only a few pints in.
One funny thing we have noticed here so far is that a lot of people drink in the Seven Elevens (small supermarkets) which you can find on every street. I am guessing this has got something to do with the rediculous price of alcohol in bars around here, so we might have to try that one next time we go out on the lash i think.
