The curry worked....hurrah

I woke up this morning feeling a little groggy aftert the alcohol the night before, and lo and behold, ye olde curry idea was a success.  My ass was raining pebbles!!!  Sorry if that was to grapic, but I just felt i had to add it!

I spent the rest of the day walking around a few sights including the Natural History Museum, but decided to take it slow cos i wasnt feeling too hot and didnt want to venture too far away from a toilet in my current condition.  The museum was one of the better ones I have visited so far as they had ful dinosaur skeletons and stuff which was pretty cool.  The rest of the museum was not so great though, it mainly contained stuffed animals, boring plants and loads of different rocks and stones that can be found in Mongolia.  I think that once you have been to one of these types of museum, you dont need to go again, becuase they are nearly all exactly the same.

I think im gonna go for some Mongolian food tonight and then hit the sack early doors as I am on the train to Beijing at 8.10am tomorrow.  I will be meeting up with Mitchell and Ackroyd there which should be pretty messy knowing them guys....I cant wait!!!

Summary of Mongolia

Overall, I have really liked Mongolia.  The countryside and the nomadic people living out there are really interesting to see and meet, and I think that I would come back to Mongolia again given the chance.  However, it would be to visit Genghis Khans birth place or the Altai Mountains instead.

My favourite things about Mongolia would have to be the sand dunes, Erdene Zuu monastery at Karakorum and meeting the nomadic people and staying in their gers.

My least favourite thing about Mongolia is the capital city, Ulan Bator.  It is really busy and polluted, the cars seem to have right of way over pedestrians (they will mow you down otherwise) and they honk their horns way to much.  The bus horns are especially loud and annoying.  If I ever hear another car horn, it will be too soon.

Also, drunk drivers in Russian cars arent too high up on my list of favourite things at the moment.
