The fittest woman on the planet

Caught a transfer back to Irkutsk at 10am with the german/swiss guys.  Little did i know they were meant to be stopping half way to Irkutsk at yet another museum!  So, begrudgingly, I paid to get into another museum thinking that it couldnt be any worse than the last one.  How wrong was I?

This is the worst museum I have ever been too!  A contributing factor may have been that I had no idea what the hell the museum was for and evrything was in Russian so i left still not knowing what it was for.  Basically it was just loads of old looking (but blatantly 5 years old) wooden buildings with crap stuff in like old russian clothes and bath tubs and dolls.  Now, why the hell would anyone pay to go and see that?  I've only been away three weeks and I hate museums already..

Moving on........I arrived in Listvyanka to be welcomed by a pretty grubby little hostel with the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in (made worse by the fact the germans were staying in a pretty nice hotel). 

Went out for a walk about the town and as it turns out there isnt a great deal to see.  They have a few nice old churches and monuments which took up a little bit of time.  The "touristy" areas of town and the old wooden houses are quite nice to look at, but the other parts of town were more like i have come top expect of most russian cities, grubby old concrete blocks.

I was going to say at this point that i thought Russian women were inferior to those in the Baltic states.  That was until I saw the fitest woman I have ever seen in my life when i was walking around today!!  You wont believe me, but i swear down she gave me the eye and a big smile (although, i find it hard to believe that it was for any other reason than to get me to go into her rather swish cafe)!  Might go in tonight before i leave for another look and maybe a sly picture!!

Summary of Russia

I have come to the following conclusions about Russia, after spending 12 days here:

• Most Russian blokes are ugly (anna told me),
• Most women under 30 have great bodies,
• After 40, Russian women turn into huge dumplings on legs with facial hair,
• All Russian food is minging and gives you the shits,
• Hardly anyone ever smiles.

Overall, I found russia to be a fairly depressing country, with the one main highlight of St. Petersburg (which is quite westernised).
