I know i have already rambled on about being in Lodz today, but we eventually arrived in Warsaw at about 11.00am absolutely shattered. Went into the central train station information desk and nearly came in my pants when we realised the vbloke in there spoke english!!! -as the only person who knew a word of english in Lodz was a 10 year old kid who directed us to the wrong place!!
Got into the hostel no problems, dropped off our huge bags and wandered into town lookign for a cheap city tour....turns out we just missed one, so we will have to do that tomorrow i guess. there really isnt a lot to do here, as the place got bombed to buggery during world war 2 and they havent got any builings older than the 40's pretty much. So we went for a beer and a kebab, this place is so cheap for European standards....it cost me 1 quid 50 for a kebab and a bottle of coke....think i will be going there again before we leave this place somehow..
Anna freaked out when we went for a beer cos loads of little birds and wasps took a fancy to her cheesecake, so that unfortunately didnt last long.
Off for find somewhere serving traditional Polish (what is that ?!?!?!)food for dinner in a few hours, but until then i have to book my trans siberian tickets, so till next time.....bye (in polish)
