Lol I have no idea why Ball of Dirt has Kings Creek on here but not
Kings Canyon...am I doing something wrong?! Anyway they're in the
same spot so you get the idea lol! The climb up Kings Canyon was
HUGE so I opted to go for the smaller walk with Laura (Irish girl) and
Niida. Had a great conversation with them about the ways of the
tour going right/wrong, lol, and had a nice leisurely walk (nice to get
away from the group as well as Greg who'd gone psycho earlier in the
day, talk about crankypants!)lol. Then climbed the apparently
gentle slope to see Kelstra waterfall for sunset which was quite
beautiful (but like all things in Australia it was missing the water
part). Had a good night back and enjoyed a pasta dinner by the
fire at our new location of Kings Creek Station. Another night
under the stars -- hard to believe it was our last! I have to
say, although it was sad to see the tour coming to an end I was
definitely growing tired of getting up every day at 5am lol and being
up until like 11pm!! That's a long day, especially when you're
doing ten hundred walks! But it was definitely worth it for the
things I got to see :)
Our tour was definitely less outback-like than Nayha and Puja's though,
lol, since we made like ten stops at convenience/grocery stores and
half the tour was all princess-ed up! Did I mention that we had
the snowboarding World Cup champion Nikki something and her boyfriend
on the trip? lol and that's the pace our walks were going at -- a
bit too fast for my tastes lol!!!
