The lake that wasn't a lake but rather a bomb site

Text written in: English

Oh goodness me, the stop at Lake Hart was awesome!  Just a small version of Lake Eyre, Lake Hart was still a good enough example of a huuuuge salt lake.  Amazing, really, it almost looked like it was just snowed over!  We were able to walk right onto it for a bit but then we got closer and a huge sign appeared saying that it was unsafe to go any further because it was a bomb site, lol, whatever that means!  Maybe when I post the picture of the sign you'll get a better idea but MAN!  Talk about just surprising the heck out of me, lol, I have to say I just didn't see the sign coming!  How random!  Anyhoo the salty lake was indeed salty as I took a small taste of it after the boys did (it's a bomb site for crying out loud, lol, I wasn't going to be the first to try!!!).  Mike told us to take some back for our pizza dinner but I thought he was kidding, lol, and he actually did use the salt lake's salt on his pizza later on in the evening.  Uggh!!  :S
