Alligator gorge (groan) & Quorn :S!!!

Text written in: English

So we drove another bunch more, lol, and arrived at Alligator Gorge for a walk.  We started the walk with a descent of about a billion stairs, even more than King's Park in Perth (AAAAAHHHHH lol)!  Sometimes I think mother nature is really out to get me, haha, and I was really worried the whole walk that we'd have to go back up them.  It was pretty nice but since our walking path was actually just a dried up stream, lol, I spent the whole time concentrating more on not falling to my doom haha!  It was a nice walk until the end when it suddenly went all uphill fun on us.  Phew!  That is one thing I can't STAND about being in a group that doesn't go at your own pace -- it's just so much easier to take it slowly when you're alone.  Then it isn't seriously bothersome!  Anyway I made it to the top regardless, lol.

Then we stopped in the FINE FINE town of Quorn for the night, lol (pronounced corn).  What a non-town!  So small!  I shared a dorm room at Andu Lodge with a girl whose name I forget, lol, an Irish girl named Eaofa (I know that's spelt wrong but meh, I'm trying--it's pronounced like Efa) and a French girl named Dalila.  Nice girls!  Then we headed out to the local hotel for dinner and had some cheap beer -- I finally tried some!  I tried Victoria Bitter (VB) since that seemed to be the most popular at Home Valley.  It wasn't too bad but I didn't love it; for some reason I just can't seem to get the love for beer happening!  Oh well :)

The dinner was pretty hilarious - I ordered chicken schnitzel and so did a Canadian girl named Tara (from out west).  Already I was quite beginning to enjoy her company as well as Claire (British) and Ronan (British).  We had a good laugh about our food since it was quite large, lol, and bonded over our hatred of Monster-in-Law (imagine that!).  After good laughs we headed home and I was thrilled when Eaofa produced second dunas (aka duvays sp??) for all of us.  It was cold!!!  We chatted for a good while before finally nodding off.
