This one's for you Michelle!

Text written in: English

Sunday we headed through the Botanical gardens (just lovely--I so enjoyed the thousands of bats hanging out!  Don't think I've ever seen so many or such huge ones lol) to the circular quay to catch a ferry to Manly Beach.  Beautiful views as we went along (me falling asleep for a bit as usual lol) and then a nice little harbour when we got there (full of life which was promising)!  We sat and chatted for a while about huge life issues and then decided to do a little more exploring.  Amazing, then, lol, that we should stumble upon the ACTUAL Manly beach, lol, not the harbour we thought it was at!  Huge and gorgeous!

We then went to burn our CDs and then out for some dinner.  Dinner was great - other than one waitress laughing at me for picking strawberry wine to drink (who does that?!) lol.  Delicious garlic on Turkish bread!  I tried caneloni at one place but sadly it wasn't perfect lol....where's mom's cooking when you need it!?

Then we took the ferry back (SUPER gorgeous to see the harbour at night!) and caught the train to Kings Cross.  Oh man, how this was such a journey lived for Michelle, haha!!!  Anyone who knows anything about Kings Cross will know what it was like, lol, cuz I'm not going to get into seriously huge details here so that the feint at heart don't...become faint?  lol!!!  Anyhoo it was a great night out, even though it was Sunday obviously the place was still alive!  I've definitely never seen anything like it in my life and I'm so absolutely glad that I was able to enjoy it.  Great times!

So my time in Sydney has come to an end - I've now also seen Sydney tower, we saw Hyde Park (gorgeous, loved that reflection pool lol), I went to Bondi Beach today (GORGEOUS!!!  Wish it wasn't so "cold" here lol) and booked my tour for the outback.  I'm flying to Adelaide tomorrow morning (actually, I should get going to bed now since I'm leaving for the airport at 5am lol) and am going on the tour on Friday morning.  Interesting update, I actually managed to get an earlier flight home and I'm coming back way early baby!

I'm sure everyone will question what I'm doing, lol, but I have to tell you that although it may have only been a few months in North America - so much more time has passed here in my world.  Weeks have felt like months and the experiences I've had are seriously beyond that.  Anyone who travels can tell you that sometimes it feels like so much longer than it actually has been, mainly because so much more is actually happening lol!  I mean, just look at my entries for crying out loud!  What would I do in a day in Cambridge?  And yet in a day in Sydney I've done a billion things lol!  Anyhoo the point is that you get to see me earlier and I get a chance to figure some stuff out at home...it should be great news for all :)

More updates to come soon from Adelaide!  Lots of love!  :)
