Ooooh...the day after (but packed with celeb fun!)

So you can imagine how we felt all morning after our fun night out haha!  But we still somehow got out of bed at 10am and headed out onto the town for a MUCH slower paced day haha.  Or so we thought!  We first went for the obligatory coffee (Nayha's up to at least 3 a day now haha) and enjoyed the also-obligatory making fun of the newspaper articles.  Then we went to the mall to grab the stuff we'd missed the day before (my Billabong bag, my new writing book, etc.).  Why did I just tell you what I needed to get?  What useless info hahaha!

Anyway we had to stop for another sit and juice, heh, and decided to whittle away the day with a movie so we didn't have to function much haha.  We tried to go to the theatre in the mall but couldn't find it (turns out the floor it's on is under construction).  We then went to the internet so we could find another theatre and something else which I can't remember haha.  BUT!  Good golly, while reading updates on HP as usual what should I come across?  An article which said that my good friend Daniel Radcliffe (who, as you should know, plays Harry in the movies) was actually in Melbourne the other day!  He was here celebrating his 16th birthday (OH MAN!  SO ALMOST THERE IN AGE!!) with his family!  Cool eh!?  EVEN better than that he was shopping at a place I've been yakking about for days, lol, called Bernard's Magic Shop (I love their Halloween display).  We went into the shop but it wasn't nearly as impressive as it looks from the outside (though they have tons of cool signed photos of magicians and stuff, it's probably really good if you're seriously into magic, which apparently Daniel is)!!

Anyhoo after SERIOUSLY drooling over the new photos from GOF that were released (HELLO HOTTIES KRUM AND DIGGORY?!?!!?!), lol, we go to the webpage for the theatres and we find this page talking about Wedding Crashers!  We have been seriously wanting to see this movie forever (don't remind me that it's been out in North America for decades lol) and so we were like hello, premiere?!  Oh - it's not until Wednesday - wait - TODAY is Wednesday!  So we started freaking out, lol, and then realized that Owen Wilson was going to be AT the premiere!  HA!  So we tried frantically to get tickets.

Then we decided we would just go on down there, haha, so we hopped on a train to South Yarra and ended up in Chapel Street (which we had been told was awesome anyhoo).  Awesome!  There was no way we were ever going to get tickets, lol, but we decided to stay for the red carpet bit.  What to do to kill time when you're feeling sick?  Have Mexican food of course!  So then we decided to eat at this cute little place on Chapel Street which was absolutely delicious!  Best nachoes I've ever had!  Two crazy/bizarro things happened on this day - I ate around onions and Nayha was interested in movies lol!

So then we waited for the celebs to show up and had a good laugh at how much funnier we were than the other people there lol (announcers from some Aussie show).  Seriously, so many "celebs" were there but we knew who NONE of them were haha!  Apparently they were all from the soap "Neighbors" and some Australian Idol and rapper?  lol  anyhoo we got to see the girl who's in the film too (I think her name is Isla, she's Aussie) who's obsessed with Vince Vaugh as well as Owen Wilson.  Cool!  Also it's important to note that Nayha actually yelled out "WHERE'S THE AFTERPARTY OWEN?!" lol!!!

Then we decided we'd go see a film in the sadness of not seeing Wedding Crashers so we headed into the other side of the theatre.  No one was there, lol, so we just walked right in!  Nice!  There were no posters outside the theatres to indicate which movie was playing so we just took a guess.  When it started I realized it was War of the Worlds which I'd already seen but Nayha hadn't so we planned to stay.  But then I had a serious coughing attack, lol, and left.  Nayha came out and we decided to go see something else lol!  In the next theatre we waited and Nayha actually had the guts to ask the people in front of us what movie it was, HAHA!  Since it was the Fantastic Four we left again, heh, opting for the third mystery theatre!  We waited and since there were so many girls we decided we would be seeing Montser-in-Law which we both secretly wanted to see because it looked so bad haha!  However, then a group of guys showed up and ruined that chance haha!  BUT!  When the movie started we knew it would be perfect - stupid music and a beach scene lol!  OH MAN!  It was SO Monster-in-Law HAHA!!!  It was just AWFUL, worst movie EVER but we so loved it because it was free haha!!  We especially loved the part where Jane Fonda commented on the drunken flower girls, hahahaha!!!

Anyway, then we returned home super tired and happy!  :)
