See the bombers go up, up! **HP spoilers**

Text written in: English

Wow - what a whirlwind day of fun in Melbourne!  I met Nayha at the train station (after losing her for a short while and having the bloody Telstra phone eat my dollar lol) and we had a TON of fun discussing Harry Potter.  Not that you all needed the warning since you all finished HP long before I did, lol, but this contains comments about the ending.  So if you haven't read HP and the Half-Blood Prince yet, don't read this next part!

Okay so that was indeed EXACTLY what I had predicted so long ago to Nayha in Broome.  Blast!  It's totally necessary for the plot but that won't stop my heart from burning with sadness!!!  The only thing I didn't predict was the way it happened, lol, I mean, WTF?!?!!?!?  I honestly believe deep down that somehow, someway, Snape will save the day.  I just couldn't bear to witness that!  And Malfoy?!  Eeesh, lol, how disturbing was that?!  Ack, the horror of it all!  And my poor, poor Harry having to break up with Ginny?!  that's so gay frankly, sooooo wrong!!!!  Anyway, it's been plaguing my mind for days.  Sadness.  So!  When's book 7 coming out?!  :s  *insert frustration here*

Righty-o, so back to my day with Nayha lol!  So much fun wandering around the Victoria Street Market - what a brilliant place!  We had a delicious brekkie and lunch there (spent the whole day looking at clothes and soveniers!!) and even met up with some Prefects and House Captains, HEH!  Then we took the free tram over to an amazingly built church to take photos, then to Fitzroy gardens.  Saw the water god fountain (and indeed it was a fountain worthy of the gods!), the dolphin fountain and then Nayha set off the alarm in the conservatory hahahaha!!  Well jeez, the sign on the door read "open daily 9am-5pm" and it was only 4pm lol so she kept pulling on the door.  HEH!  Anyhoo then we went to see the model tudor village, which for some reason both of us expected to be an actual model village - like life sized, lol, not minature!  It makes sense now, I guess, haha, but when we saw the tinnnnny little village we were quite disappointed!  ALSO, HAHA, the village had certainly seen its better days!  It was in a serious drought, half of the buildings were torn away, and what remained was seriously decrepit haha!  Is it just me or can I not spell anymore?!  Anyhoo...we also saw the fairy tree which was just a stump with fairies and the like carved into it hahahahaha...

Then we walked all the way back across town because the tram is apparently not going there right now (stupid Australian construction and people standing in front of important signs!!) to go to the Observation Deck.  AWESOME!  It was just like any other observation deck really, haha, many many storeys above the city but providing excellent views.  We watched the sunset, planned our route to the Telstra dome (via the squiggly building) and set off.

So!  The dome was PACKED full of excited footy (Australian football) fans and Nayha decided to cheer for the Cats because they wore the same colours as the Maple Leafs lol.  I chose the other team just for opposition's sake, heh, they were the bombers (red and black).  We got standing room only tickets and went off for dinner.  It was down by the Docklands at this seriously fantastic Italian restaurant called Medici.  We had pizza (YUMMY!!  Aussie pizza with tomatoes, ham, something and egg, hee!!!) and seriously took our time getting back to the game.  We were late, lol, but didn't care much.  It was actually a ton of fun!  We were definitely irritating everyone around us with our comments like "so what's happening NOW?" and "why's that guy doing that-or that-and that?" lol but it was fun!  It's certainly WAY more interesting than regular football (sorry dad), and I have to say I definitely found myself enjoying it!

Afterwards we joined the HORDES going to the train station (man this place is set up nearly identical to Toronto lol) and missed the train to Epping.  How could we not?!  There were a billion people everywhere, haha, and we could see the train we needed to be on but they had already closed the doors and wouldn't let anyone else on.  Which, granted, is understandable since there were a BILLION people rushing the doors lol!!!  It was just like out of a horror flick (except that nobody was panicking and rushing and dying lol).

Anyhoo we just got on another train and all was good.  Yay footy!!!  By the way the title of this message was taken from the EXTREMELY catchy theme song of the Bombers, haha, which has been stuck in our heads for days!  I love that they play the winner's theme song haha!  Also I've decided my kids are DEFINITELY going to boarding school - hello?!  I love the uniforms hahahah!!!!

Heh so it's not actually Draco's but it's close enough! Nayha and I laughed anyway. :) Actually I'm also glad I got this because hello?! It's in the Queen Victoria market of greatness! St. Peter's - what a beautiful building! Apparently Fawkes thinks so too because he was in St. Peter's hanging out. Footy! more footy! Melbourne from the Observation Tower. Beautiful!
