Time to blow this popsicle stand!

EXCITEMENT! HARRY POTTER IS COMING! ANNNNND I get to leave this small town mayhem, lol, and head out to an even SMALLER town! HEH! Actually it's not even really a town, hee, but I'm super excited. I got a job at a beautiful-looking place called Home Valley Station between here and Darwin basically. You definitely have to check out the webpage at www.homevalley.com.au so you can see the pictures of it - woo!! Also there's a map page which will clarify where it is for you. All I know is that I have to board a bus Monday night that will drive foooorrreeeeever and drop me off in the town of Kununurra (fun to say aloud five times fast!) at 10am Tuesday morning. LONGEST BUS RIDE EVER! lol!

Anyhoo I'll be doing things like reception, serving, housekeeping, all the good stuff! Also good is that food and accommodation is included in my pay, which is really high! YAY MONEY! So as it turns out I don't have to leave Australia with my tail between my legs, lol. Sad news of course being that I have to leave my foxy gals Nayha and Puja behind, as well as our darling car Dory. Which we're trying to sell off at a rapid pace lol.

Puja and I plan to meet up in Darwin in three months though, so never fear! Nayha, on the other hand, will be fleeing Broome herself in two weeks to go off and go to "school" like a so-called "normal" person lol. Oh how I'm so looking forward to precious, precious money ("my precious")...I hope Subway pays me too the bastards. I don't think I'll ever recover from that, lol, but these people sound super nice and friendly! And apparently there's a girl from just outside Toronto working there too! Small world eh?

Oh and to give you an example of what a small town this is - last night Puja, Amy (our awesome roomie from New Zealand) and I were on our way to the movies when we passed this shitty restaurant both Amy and Nayha worked at. So I start making fun of it, lol, and later on that night Puja and I were walking and this guy comes up to us and he's like UHHH DID YOU MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT DIE BLOOMS DIE EARLIER TONIGHT? And I'm like, so stunned I can barely speak, lol, but I can honestly say I never said that, lol, so I was like noooo....lol!!!

Also we're staying in the dodgiest hostel EVER, lol, but it's really quite grown on us and because it's so cheap we just couldn't be bothered to move heh! Plus, like I said, our roomie is so great we couldn't leave! Granted there is this other roommate who just lies on her bed all day staring up at the bunk above her, haha, but I guess you can't win them all eh?! It's not like we didn't try to invite her out places!

Anyway so I'm finally going to be able to relax in this crazy town and enjoy the apparently world famous Cable Beach - before it was all yeah I'm suntanning - but can I afford to live tonight?! Lol!!! Needless to say though you're going to see some seriously fantastic photos once they're up here on Monday. I can't wait to share the carnie pictures especially, HEE!!
