A day at the races...I mean beach

Okay so although I wasn't thrilled with the annoying flies I had to swat through to get to the visitor's centre, it was DEFINITELY worth the drive to Acton - I mean Cape Range National Park. Once inside the park we went to Turquoise Bay which was GORGEOUS - by far one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever see. Problem was that it was a bit chilly and still super windy, so not as perfect as it could have been (but jeez, still bloody fantastic!). I actually had an awesome day just writing on the beach and enjoying my chicken sandwich...ahhhh back when I was carefree, well fed and relatively happy (lol just kidding - but I really ought to do these journals at the time rather than when I'm jobless poor and, well, unhappy lol). Regardless, beautiful beautiful beach!
