Down at the Copa.. Copacabana...

When my Baby smiles at me... i got to Rio... de Janeiro...

I arrived into rio after a early morning flight, coming back from Santiago after Easter Island... Here i met up with my very good friend Aline, and found myself in a hostel for a few days. I was tired of the hostel life so i did some flat hunting and we managed to find myself a Apartment for a month, right in Copacabana. A nice little studio setup, it had a Tv with cable (great to watch some english TV), a small kitchen, bathroom, etc.. all the basic modern conveniences...

I found it a bit challenging at times, as i don~t know the language and really any body who lives here (apart from Aline). After a while thou, i got used to it, and now, after getting 3 days of sunshine in a row, i know i~m going to miss the place. Every morning i find myself swimming past the wave breaks on Copacabana beach, looking up at the Sugarloaf mountain, soaking up the beauty of this town. Actually i want to get back out there now, just thinking about it...
