Very Pretty, Very Green and Very Small

I am going to have to add Ljubljana to my favorite places. Even after spending all night half awake on the bus and showing up without a room booked in what we later found out is the VERY busy season. No worries, we did find a room, the tourist office is VERY helpful. Small city, only 200,000, surrounded by mountains on all sides. (check out the map on the left side of the page if you don´t believe me.) Small country too, you can see the Austrian border from the top of the castle tower, and Hungary on the opposite end is only 3 hours away.
