Salt Mine

We took a third day trip today and went to the overpriced and somewhat overrated Salt Mine near the city. Neat place, but not worth the price. We went 125 meters underground through corridors and down stairs to see two chapels, a post office a restaurant, a bar and a ballroom. At least we got to take the elevator back up.

Salt Mine Ballroom. Is this what they do on coffee break? Underground Cathedral. Almost everything is made out of salt, the floor, the sculptures, even the crystals on the chandalier. What a masterpiece!(made of salt)
