More Rain

We navigated very successfully through the Metro madness to a hostel, with a room for us. A very happy thing considering all the horror stories we had heard about train station pickpockets and metro madness, and no vacancies, sleeping on the street stories. The rain managed to hold off until we got to the hostel, but now it is coming down quite nicely. We will be here a couple days, so more to come soon.
Next Day
The rain stopped, it was much nicer today. Last night we climbed the eiffel tower and saw the arc de triomphe. Today we saw Notre Dame and a bunch of other less famous places. Tomorrow before we leave we will probably stop by the Louvre. Nice place, and a lot less hectic once we got settled in and figured out how to get around.
