Hello Western Australia

We got a flight with Virgin blue to Perth. These planes don't give you food and there is no in-flight entertainment, and it's a five hour flight. But it was possibly one of the funniest plane trips I've been on. I think the head air stewardess had aspirations to be a comedienne. During the safety briefing, which she was doing the voiceover for as the
young male steward demonstrated, she said;
'Please place the life jacket over your head once you have stopped screaming'
'there is a whistle to attract attention........from sailors'
'please turn off your mobile phone, if you do not know how to turn off your phone please ask the nearest child to do it for you.'
And there were more and more jokes, she couldn't stop!
Due to the lack of a TV screen they got the plane involved in a competition the first was name 15 films Julia Roberts has been in. There were 3 guys sat across the aisle from us who kept wanting to trade answers and/or cheat. We got quite competitive. But in the end I won! Apparently one of the guys was famous, must've been C-list cos I had no idea who he was. Possibly some sort of R'n'B singer.
