Ahhhhhh christmas lights

Im glad Kirsty and I stayed in Istanbul a little longer. Bulgaria, though we didnt see much of it, lacked character. We went to a few cafes, that looked more like American diners where Bulgarians sat around by themselves staring at the walls. At one point a man talked to a lady at the table next to him asking to borrow her lighter which she abruptly replied "No". The realisation hit me that I wasnt going to hear the words Welcome where are you from any time soon. This however is assuming that those were the words spoken as we were only guessing based on body language. He could have said to her "What are those tourists staring at us for" and she replied "Yeah there is a perfectly good wall over there."

Probably the best part of Bulgaria was seeing pretty Christmas lights everywhere.
