Cave girls

Goreme in Cappadocia is famous for its rock formations that have formed from erosion. In fact the whole valley is filled with these sureal rock formations so it doesnt matter where you look you are surrounded by a fairy tale place. In the rocks you can see caves which is evidence of inhabitence. There are also underground cities that can be explored.
Now that all sounds interesting in a history text book kind of way and it was spectacular but it was also freezing so Kate, Kirst and I spent a lot of our time indoors with hot chocolate. It was also raining so we couldnt do much traipsing around the valley. It was nice to spend a few days there because it really did feel like you where in some bizarre parralel universe or something.
We spent a bit of time at red red wine bar which is in a cave and very warm and cozy. I highly recomend it.
