Having had a very funny chat with a guy at Jacksons hostel when we still had 150km to go at about 10:15, we eventually arrive at the hostel around 11:30.

We rock up to the hostel and find out that we havent any sheets, and as its late the night porter is worried about waking other people up........the fact that its a hostel and the place is buzzing seems not to make a difference! However, this all worked out to our favour as to accomodate us, he placed us in our own room for the same price. what a legend! although it was a good job id brought my sleeping bag!

Dumping our stuff, we head out for a quick bite to eat, a breath of fresh air and stretch of the legs. Finally hitting the sack around 12:30 in preparation for the cup the next day.
