le Marais (and friends)

A lot of these photos are from around my neighbourhood (Paris IV - le Marais) - I loaded up the camera and wandered around this morning - it's a really diverse quatier! One of the residents associations is against a pedestrianization scheme that the council is planning, because they believe it would bring about a 'gentrification' and 'museum-ization' of the quatier. Personally, we think that's crap and we're sick of cars ruining our nice weekend strolls!

There's a few random photos of our walk around Pere Lachaise Cemetery a couple of weekends ago too - spooky! (I don't know how to organise the presentation of the photos).

And yes, the photo of Place de Concorde I took myself, I'm quite proud of it :-)
