Faaaabulous, actually. The beach was very clean, although the water wasn't so nice. Not entirely deserted, but not too crowded either. And not so much yucky old man-ness that you sometimes find at gay beaches.
One of the best parts was the trip home - some very hot Eastern-European-boys were already on the train (I guess they'd been to a more respectable trip) and we had the pleasure of being shunted around in the packed carriage half-way across suburban Riga. Yum yum! Tanktops galore.
