Lopburi

We decided to have this as a stop over on our way up to Chaing Mai...it ended up being just a smaller but nicer version of Ayutthaya to be honest. We only had one night here as that was all that was needed. Ate at the lovely night market and bought an umbrella...much needed to hide from the rain and the sun! We stayed in a really nice place, far too many bloody monkeys though! We left early the next morning for Phitsanulok, four hours up the road, but then ended up going all the way back to Lopburi that same afternoon! We, very stupidly I may add, left our very important money belt at the guesthouse. Luckily it was there and we were sure that it would still be there as the people were so nice and honest. More than anything it was just a very annoying waste of time as we had to stay there again and do the same train trip all over again the next day!! Lets just say we wont be doing that again!!!
