On arrival at Palolem beach in Goa we had to decide which beach huts to stay at. It is quite funny that with such a large selection of so many of the same huts which are actually all very similar you still manage to get quite picky about needing a hut close to the front of the beach, and in the middle of the beach and......
Anyway, I was actually only staying in Goa for one night, so I was only looking out for Lisa really.
My time in Goa (although I never saw the city, because it is actually a long area of beach that is called Goa) was spent as you would expect - in and out of the sea, shopping and eating. Of course in the 2 days and 1 night I was there I managed to get sunburnt eventhough I had avoided it for the last 2 months in India.
I had the option of getting an auto-rickshaw to the nearest town, then a bus to Madgao and then another auto-rickshaw to the train station. I opted for the much more expensive direct cab there at probably triple the price (but still under a tenner) but a quarter of the time and stress - especially after all the travelling i had done the last few days.
