everywhere in Rotorua smells like rotten eggs. We picked up my jacket from the airport, kindly forwarded by air new zealand...

then we hit the luges, it was so much fun, you go right down into valley and there are different tracks depending on how adventurous you feel. you can pick up some serious speed and control your speed and path the whole way...

later we had some bites with fiona (gerald's sister who is a tour guide) and another dude whose name i've forgotten who was originally from nottingham but lives in new zealand now....

this was followed by a spa until it got too hot
