My grandma and grandpa on my father's side had oodles of children, so I have lots of aunts and uncles and scores of cousins in Sydney, as well as elsewhere.

My aunt Felicity came out to India when my parents were living there and eventually met Thubten, who at the time was a Tibetan monk. They fell in love, got married and their three children, Tsering (18), Dechen (16) and Loden (6) live with Grandma in a huge house not far from Avalon and Palm Beach.
