Partying up north..

Text written in: English

It's beautiful here, absolutely beautiful. Amazing beaches, crystal clear water, rolling hills, Kauri forests, and all in such a small space! I've met some great people, mostly Americans and Canadians, who are unfortunately all going home soon (Bay of Islands is usually the first or last thing you do in NZ), so no permanent travelling buddies yet. There has been a lot of drinking, but I've also managed to fit in visiting Waitangi National Estate (where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between Maori Chiefs and the British Crown), Waipoua Kauri Forest, and many beautiful beaches. Luckily I've met some people with cars who have been driving me round the sights.
I'm going on a 24hr cruise tonight... very excited about it!
