We have found this wet stuff falling from the sky

We have spent two full days in Auckland in complete chaos trying to work out how we are gonna do New Zealand. Last night with no plan of action we took some advice from a reliable source - yes Miss Peters that is you and went to check out the Minus 5 Ice Bar. How COOL was that!!!

The bar room has an average temperature of -9'C and walls, bar, chairs, sculptures and even glasses are made of ice! We were issued with Eskimo style coats, boots and gloves and were allowed in for a max of 25mins. As you know most liquids e.g beer and water would be frozen in these temps so the menu was limited to Vodka or Vodka cocktails. Every shot at these temps is equal to 3 at regular temps so in 25mins and 2cocktails and one funnel later we were pretty worse for wear after having equal to approx 23 shots of vodka (i.e 1 per min!)

This helped us make some decisions about what we were doing - ok so not about dinner, we did have to phone Spain to have Ricky's Mum decide whether we should eat pizza or BK for dinner!! (Thanks Mum!) But by the am we had decided to buy a car and Wwoof round NZ! So today we went to one of our fav places - a car market and bought a car (its to cold for a campervan they have snow here soon for the ski season you know). So we now own a cute little Honda Intergra 1991 which we bought for only 520 (English Pounds) and we are ready to Wwoof.

This was the only possible effect of Vodka, me asleep on the floor by the door !!!!!
