Our last day in OZ

Text written in: English

Today being our last day we went back to the Harbour (we just can't keep away) and explored the Sunday Market at The Rocks (Sydney’s oldest Quarter). Standing outside Saatchi & Saatchi we finally found the ring we have spent the last 4months searching for. We had seen it in Vietnam and then suddenly here it was in Australia on our last day, how perfect. This afternoon we took the ferry to Manly - Sydney's seaside suburb! It wasn't really beach weather but we watched the surfers and strolled round the market before getting fish n chips and the ferry home.

This afternoon we got back from Manly and were faced with the horrific task of packing our backpacks again after three months of them being empty. Shockingly Ricky didn't suddenly fall asleep or transmogrify into the weirdest mood ever known only as "a headless chicken", so miraculously we managed it in less than two hours and we were just taking a sigh of relief when I (NIKKI) flooded the kitchen and we nearly lost the deposit we had just got back!!

So our bags are packed, our shuttle to the airport is booked and tomorrow we fly to Auckland - assuming we wake up in time ( I think I packed the alarm clock!)
