So what to do!! Theres so much we had to be ruthless and so we turned into tourists and decided to do the LPs walk through Sydney to check that we had see as many corners as possible of the city and not just the Opera House.
We started off in Kings Cross - yes surprisingly it is part of the tour (for the architecture)and then walked past the museum and through Hyde Park (still in Oz not London folks). Here we checked out the very impressive Anzac Memorial, then walked down to the fountain and crossed over to the cathedral. There was a wedding taking place inside so we stopped and watched commenting on how irritated you would be to have so many sightseers invading. As we left there was another bride already waiting to go in, having photos taken with skateboarders in the background!!
We took a stroll through the Botanic Gardens and then found ourselves back at circular quay! No surprise there then! As we walked past the Opera House a guy tried to sell us a boat cruise around the Harbour - he suceeded.
We jumped aboard and set off past the Opera House - more photos but new angle, and up to the heads (entrance to the Harbour), we past the Prime Ministers house and the Governors House and even got coffee and cake, then arriving back just as the sun was setting. Cool.
