Dolphins, Turtles and a Ray all from a lighthouse

Text written in: English

. We found a lovely campsite, yes you guessed it, on the beach! We went to see the lighthouse which was the most easterly point of the Oz mainland, it was a great view and we had been told we would see dolphins. Well just as Ricky was asking the sea where all the dolphins were some miraculously appeared.
It was so cool we watched 10 dolphins playing in pairs and threes for ages then a turtle popped up from the reef - it was unreal and just as we thought it couldn't get any better a manta ray swam past. Truly amazing and we stayed there for ages just watching the dolphins and trying to guess where the turtle would pop up next. Photos as always will be on the website very soon. We decided we had to go to the beach, it is Byron after all so we spent a lovely day on the beach just soaking up the sun and making the use of our boogie boards before we sold them and watching the long board (surf) completion that was happening just down the beach!
