Surfs up but not for us

Leaving the Deadhorses was hard but we had a celebratory breakfast and then exchanged email addresses so they will never be forgotten.

After changing a tyre, tidying Stimpy and playing 3 games of Pool we finally got away and made our way to Noosa where we were hoping to meet up with some of the Deadhorses who had caught the bus there earlier. Alas it was not to be!!!

Noosa is a cool coastal town with a strange mix of oldies, surfers and rich tourists, very cool vibes and some cute little boutiques. There are loads of beaches and we did manage to check out the main surfers beach in town before we were dragged down to earth and realised that our time in Oz is now strictly limited. We had a drive round to check Noosa out which was probably a bad thing cos now we know what we're missing before we found a campsite for the night.

We had a chilled out night talking to some aussie VW owners who are driving round trying to decide where to live next (cool life!) before the rain started and we were forced to bed to keep dry.

We wish we could have spent more time here but with so much still to see and not much time we had to leave the next morning.
