Mission beach a few drinks & then Taylor's Beach

Mission beach was our next stop and a campsite right on the beach, from our bedroom window (Stimpy's back windscreen) you could see the sea and the perfect white sand. So we had to go and catch the last of the evenings rays on the sand watching skydivers landing on the beach.

We had a VW Kombi for a neighbour so we went out for a drink in the evening with the VW's owners- 1 drink turned into many when the rain started and we were stranded in the bar! Well at least it took my mind off skydiving onto the beach which I really wanted to do but isn't really in our budget. But walking home in the rain was not fun the roads here are just not used to a downpour so we were wading ankle deep in water in flip flops!!!

The sun was back in the morning, thank god as we were off to check out Taylor's Beach and Nikki was very excited. (Taylor's her last name) When we got there it was a small beautiful beach with perfect white sand and a beautiful view of Dunk Island so it was worth the trip. "If only my Daddy could be here!"
