We headed down to start the very famous Great Ocean Road did you know it was built as a memorial to the soldiers who lost their lives in WW1 ( is this too much historic info??).
The drive was breathtaking (and slightly scary when Ricky tried taking those cliff roads faster than stimpy was happy with!)We started at Torquay a famous surf spot, you could tell this without reading the LP as the only shops there were Ripcurl, Billabong, Quiksliver etc!
Just as we were driving into Apollo Bay we saw our first wild Kangaroo just sitting on the side of the road - cool!
We spent 2 days driving the GOR but could have spent months here staying at every beautiful coastal village or lookout point. We stopped to see everything 12 Apostles, Londons Bridge, Gibson Steps, The Grotto, Loch Ard Gorge, Otway Light house and loads of beaches....
