Seven Mile Beach

As we drove south out of Sydney to catch the melborne summer the rain started
So we spent our fist night in Stimpy at Seven Mile Beach and we found out that he doesn't leak- yipee, our only neighbour was Alan an ozzie with a Campervan who got out loads of maps and we discussed our intended route- he seems to think it is possible so that was encouraging.
Seven mile beach really is 7miles long even though the Aussies work in km, where do they come up with these imaginative names. Even in the rain seeing a beach stretch out in front of you and behind you for as far as the eye can see and then have to imagine the other 6&half miles is pretty unreal!
