What a view !!!!

Text written in: English

Friday we travelled up to Victoria Peak by Peak Tram, this is the highest point on Hong Kong Island and has an awesome view, it is also a very sought after residential area with some gorgeous houses. We were there to see the view by daylight and then waited for it to get dark so we could see the famous skyline by night. We returned to the mainland by Star ferry (very famous, its been running for 100 years now) and were crossing the harbour as the laser light show started from all the waterside towerblocks again very spectacular!

Last night we met up again with Claire's friends and some of Sally's friends who had just flown in from England and went out for dinner of Hot Pot. No not Lancashire Hotpot, this is a traditional meal where there is boiling soup in the middle of the table and lots of raw meat and vegs and you dip the food in the flavoured soup to cook it. A new experience especially considering some of the raw food consisted of pig skin and fish skin!!!!
