On Wednesday we went to a place where they have a so called wishing tree which you buy a orange from one of the stalls write a wish on the paper its attached to and then hurl it up into the tree if it stays up there your wish comes true if it falls out then you try again after two tries mine stayed up there, Nikki threw hers behind us( the string got caught round my finger!!) and then into the insence burners which are really important things to the people her around this time we decided to leave quietly and quickly (for the record kirsten threw hers across the road and i was the only person to get mine to stay in the tree). After this we headed off to the temple of a thousand Budda's, we arrived at 4.15 and it closed at 4.30 so we had a very quick run around to see what it was like apparently it has 415 steps so it was hard going to say the least but hey we can say we have done it and we saw the buddas all with a different pose.
Once we got back and let the others get some rest we went off to the Lunar New Year parade on Hong kong island and stood like sardines waiting to see the parade which turned out to be wicked. We then headed off to meet up with Claire and her friends Sally, Kirsten, Christina & Marco at Joe Bananas where it was ladies night meaning ladies have FREE drinks all night so all the women as you can guess drank as much as possible Then off to another bar Skitzs where again it was ladies night but this time the lads could to pay $120 hkd for drinks all night - total bargin all you can drink for us both for under a tenner. We finally got back some time after four in the morning after a little bit of BUS surfing courtesy of Sally.
