We are now Down Under how weird!

After getting through very strict customs we had a coffee and then found a bus which would take us door to door to our hostel in Kings Cross- the dodgy part of town. We checked in at 10 and slept til 4, not good for jetlag but a must. That evening we went to see if the backpackers car market in the underground carpark is a myth or real - its real but the selection was not great. it is literally a multi storey carpark and on level 2 everyone is trying to sell their heaps before they fly! We both fell in love with Stimpy straight away, so we took his Brummie owners out for a beer or two ( so they couldn't drive away or sell to anyone else) and over pizza arranged the price.

Stimpy was ours! So the next morning we went to get him. He is a 30yr old Orange with a yellow door VW Combi Van, he boasts a huge double bed, new carpets & curtains, spacious and airy front room/ driving area, kitchen/dinner with cooker, chairs, fridge and utensils, and covered patio area complete with boogie boards. Home Sweet Home!!! That evening we made use of our hostel for one more night and one more hot shower and treated ourselves to a belated Valentines Day theatre trip to see the world premier of Dirty Dancing staring Kym Valentine (Libby out of Neighbours! HOW YA DOING!!!!) It was awesome and just like the film.
