My swim in the pool was lovely (jealous?)and much needed as it is so hot here and very humid unless there is a thunderstorm of which we have seen loads and loads but only in the evening and hot and sunny again by morning. My tan is coming on but slowly as it is averaging 30'C and your blood boils in the sun and we haven't really had many days to just relax on the beach!

Today we were in Jo'berg watching England v South Africa in the 4th test at cricket so i now understand the game pretty well - kinda had to after sitting there from 10am til 6 today. It was also a great opportunity to get a tan so i have some very white bits now and a very red face despite the factor 30 so will wear a cap tom. We've just watched highlights and you can see us when Strauss scores his 50 ( hope that means something to you!!!) The Barmy Army was bizzare but cool and an awesome atmosphere!

We fly to singapore on sunday and we're gutted we haven't got any more time here as it is amazing and is really starting to feel at home and we havent seen nearly enough as this country is so big well it leaves something to come back to. Joberg has a very bad reputation for being unsafe and ok so the centre is like a ghost town when the offices aren't open and there are no go areas like all cities but we have felt fine and in fact it is the only place we have walked to a pub for a nite out rather than just going to the hostel bar.

We have moved hostels as the Ritz was crazy, we had 16 bunks in our dorm when we arrived and they had increased that to 28 for the cricket. I cannot sleep with 56 people in the same room!! our new hostel is Fantastic we cannot praise it enough and the owners cannot do more for us it is like a home from home and we don't wanna leave. Its called Sleek so any of you who come to Joberg check it out. they also have unlimited internet for 3pounds a day so that is why you are all getting another email so soon!!


Well guys gotta go and relax before tomorrow - another day of sunning myself at the cricket and then a Barmy Army Charity party for the Tsumai Aid appeal- its not gonna be pretty!!
