we went to Jo'berg for one day before leaving on a massive truck ( its a truck not a bus OK) to Kruger National Park. We were on that truck for so long but it was cool as when we stopped it had a kitchen and tents and matresses so we set up camp. Kruger is huge. The camp sites are like little towns with shops and petrol stations and pools and the park itself is cool but i am so tired i can barely type right now becasue we got up at 4am everyday to do a dawn game drive( worth it cos we got to see the lions) and didn't finish driving till 6.30 every day all that time is spent with eyes peeled out of the window looking for animals. Although i was looking for animals on the backs of my eyelids at some points!!!
We saw loads of animals giraffes of course and all the others and have some priceless photos of hippos yawning and hyena with bellys so full they could barely walk. Best was propably the elephants we saw tons and loads of babies which are so cute just like the one out of jungle book! (Ha Ha Mummy are you jealous - I thought of you when we saw them and we have some photos for your wall and a video clip that i cant wait to show you!) The only animal we hadn't seen was the notoriously rare to spot leopard but on our way back to Joberg we stopped at a animal rehab centre. Here you could feed vultures which Ricky did and they had a leopard finally we saw it and they are so beautiful and we saw a very rare animal called the Honey badger who was a real character!
