Zululand Backpackers - Monkeys but no giraffes

Durban to Eshowe and a fawlty towers style hotel where if you leave any food outn the monkeys come and eat it!! We got there and went to a Zulu wedding, very cool to see the ceremony and see how the 20th century meets Zulu traditions. The owner of the hotel had a cousin who had just bought 6 giraffes so he arranged to take us to see them but although we drove around for 2hrs the area the were in was so big and such dense bush we couldn't find them :(

Just as we were getting onto the Baz Bus we saw a group of velvet monkeys playing and messing around by one of the cars in the carpark it was really cool. so i guess Rudi was telling the truth i guess they do pop by every now and then
