Well after 2 weeks on the road, I'm finally back in Cape Town. Took us three days to get home and the only hickup was that after over 6000 km of going like a tank, barely 500 kms from Cape Town, Andy's 2003 Land Rover suffered a terminal gear box failure in the middle of the Karoo. Rescue came and we finished the journey in a decidely unflash Toyota Condor. Still what a trip.
