Road Trip to Zimbabwe

The road trip began today. At 3 am Andy Gray (a freind of the family), Tony (one of Andy's golfing buddies) and I began the 1200km first leg to Johannesburg. Drove through the sunrise through South Africa's equivalent of the outback - the Karoo which is arid and desolate and quite beautiful and arrived in Joburg around 5 for the night where we stayed with some old freinds of Andy's who he knew from his days as a policeman in what was then Rhodesia.
