Landed in Cape Town and musings on British Airways

Just a quick note to say that I have arrived in Cape Town and that with the preamble over, adventure now begins in earnest.
Arrived to an overcast but warm Cape Town and the view coming out of the airport was the spectacular Table Mountain shrouded with its cloth of clouds - awesome.
The flight was not bad actually - quick and even the food was half decent. I wanted to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on BA. Those thoughts are as follows: the stewards and stewardesses have this uniquely British manner of studied indifference. They are all unfailingly polite while at the same time do not give a good god damn about you. Its really funny. Anyway more later, Cape Town beckons.
