Party time

I arrived in Melbourne at about 3am and once I'd met up with the welsh lads from the plane again (luckily they didn't have the rubber glove experince in the airport) we went walking into town to find a pub that was open.
Unfortunately this didn't turn out to be so easy but after asking what seemed like every seven-eleven in town we found a 24hr bar that was open and stayed drinking there until the sun rose surrounded by the drunk british people.
Most of the rest of the days in Melbourne followed a similar drunken theme with a few distractions thrown in between including the arrival of a couple of friends of mine from my university days, Paul and Richard.
I managed to make it to the Wales vs Canada rugby match, which Wales won well in the impressive Telestra closed stadium. I also had look around the MCG which was a good laugh and saw some of the city but a lot of my time in Melbourne was taken up with drinking in bars especially as the hostel didn't seem to show a lot of the rugby matches.
